Crash Clogs Up Traffic On I-395 In Arlington County During Evening Commute

The afternoon commute was hectic for some motorists in Arlington County when northbound lanes on I-395 were closed as first responders investigated a crash in the area.

The crash on I-395 left only two lanes open on Monday afternoon.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on July 22, several lanes were blocked as crews investigated a reported crash that led to delays of nearly three miles, according to officials.

The Virginia Department of Transportation says that motorists can expect delays in the area as traffic is only getting by in the two left lanes of the interstate.

No details about the crash have been released by the DOT or police.
